Suzuki Violin - Suzuki Cello

 

These courses are for children/teenagers who are currently taking lessons with a certified Suzuki teacher.

The Suzuki teacher must be a member of the ESA (European Suzuki Society) or SIS (Swiss Suzuki Institute).

For violin, the minimum level is "Suzuki Allegro" (Book 1, Piece 8).

For cello, participation is possible from Pre-Twinkle onwards.

 

"Kurzworkshop" (Friday/Saturday)

 

These courses are for children/teenagers who are currently taking lessons with a certified Suzuki teacher.

The Suzuki teacher must be a member of the ESA (European Suzuki Society) or SIS (Swiss Suzuki Institute).

The short workshop is for:

Suzuki Violin students, Books 1 & 2 (minimum level "Suzuki Allegro," Book 1, Piece 8)

Suzuki Cello students, from Pre-Twinkle onwards.

Of course, everyone is welcome to attend the entire four-day workshop, including the final concert.

 

"Besuchstag" for "Twinkle" Students (Saturday)

 

These courses are for children/teenagers who are currently taking lessons with a certified Suzuki teacher.

The Suzuki teacher must be a member of the ESA (European Suzuki Society) or SIS (Swiss Suzuki Institute).

The "Besuchstag" is for:

Suzuki violin students who can already play "Twinkle" but not yet more than "Suzuki Allegro" (Book 1, Piece 8)

Suzuki cello students from the Pre-Twinkle level onward

 

Suzuki Early Childhood Education

 

This course is for children up to 4 years old (even very young babies are welcome!).

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

 

"Suzuki Adults"

 

This course is for accompanying adults who also play the violin and would like to make music together during these days.

Please note that children should be accompanied at all times during the course, at least until Book 3.

 

Final Concert

The final concert will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2025, in Zurich.

The final concert is for:

Suzuki Violin students of the workshop/"Kurzworkshop" starting with "Suzuki Allegro" (Book 1, Piece 8)

Suzuki Cello students of the workshop/"Kurzworkshop"

Are you a Suzuki teacher or a music teacher interested in the Suzuki Method? Come and listen to all the lessons and concerts. There are no course fees, but we would be delighted to receive your registration.

(Parents of participating children are of course always welcome, but do NOT need to register separately.)

The "early bird" price is valid until December 31, 2025 - Please transfer the amount by December 31, 2025.

Please note: Places are limited. Your place is only reserved after the course fee has been transferred.

If you cancel by February 1, 2026, the course fee will be refunded (minus a processing fee of CHF 20).

If you cancel by April 1, 2026, 50% of the course fee will be charged.

No refunds are possible for cancellations after April 1, 2026.
